|As a member of the food and beverage team at Rosedale Golf Club, you are a positive, enthusiastic, team oriented individual who is passionate about hospitality, has a keen eye for detail and strives to surpass member expectations.
The function of the Banquet Supervisor is to supervise, organize, and direct all aspects of Banquet food and beverage service. The Banquet Supervisor will require a strong knowledge of professional service standards, training, excellent communication and organizational skills.
Maintain good communication with all departments in the Club. the Banquet Supervisor must be flexible to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends and holidays, including Christmas day.
Reporting directly to the Banquet Manager, this position is responsible for the daily operations of all in-house catering events held at the Club. Candidates will require a strong knowledge of professional service standards, staff development and training, scheduling, excellent communication and organizational skills, budgetary input and cost controls, be innovative, and have the flexibility to work a variety of shifts (including nights, weekends, and holidays).Any candidate filling this position will be required to participate in weekly departmental meetings, fulfill manager on duty shifts (including opening and closing shifts), and provide assistance to the Banquet Manager as required.Two to three years of previous employment in the hospitality field, particularly in Catering and Banquet service as a supervisor or manager, is a definite asset. Those with an education in Hospitality, Food and Beverage, and/or Hotel Management are encouraged to apply by email only.
